Cross-country
We were so lucky with the weather last week for the cross-country.
Well done to all those who participated.
It really showed on the children's faces that all the practise had been worth while, with nearly all Room One children finishing with a smile.
Places were:
5 year old boys  1st Lachlan Slingsby
5 year old girls   1st Amelie Henderson
                           2nd Ella Third
                           3rd Emily Goodeve
Go Room One!
Thank you to Mrs Ford, Mrs Cameron and Mrs Hawkins for the photos.

On Saturday I went to the observatory.
I saw Eta Carinae.

We saw a telescope. It was shaped like a tree trunk.
I saw Saturn. Saturn was yellow with rings around it.
Through the telescope I saw a whole galaxy of stars.
